This week, I'd like to spotlight our teachers using the new IHM Mail system. Jim L. is having a good time formatting his weekly update emails-- love the bold, italics, and underlining, Jim! I think we're all enjoying the ease of communicating with each other using the distribution list address. Gerry B.. is also forwarding her best pictures of events to us. Being on a unified system allows us to function more as a community of educators. What are your needs for professional development with this new system? 3. Teacher Productivity Tool: Edmodo
Edmodo is a free web-based classroom social learning network. If you have ever wished you could send students assignments online, have them complete them and return them to you digitally, and grade their work on your computer, Edmodo is a perfect fit. I'm very impressed by it and would love to help you set up a class. To experiment with it:
